What are the challenges in your business that you need time to take forward?

 Afternoon Session

Do you have ideas that you never find time to progress to a plan?
Have you got a long list of ‘to-do’s’ that you don’t get round to prioritising?
Are you clear where you are going?

If any of these ring true for anyone in your organisation, or yourself, then the CIPD have teamed up with the International Coach Federation to offer the opportunity to attend a half day Mastermind group.

This event is open to everyone – different roles, different industries, members and non-members. It be of value to people working in all types of roles and at different levels within an organisation. One of the benefits of the format is gaining input from different perspectives, regardless of whether the challenge is task, developmental or strategic.

Please note: To save disappointment – this event is NOT aimed at coaches

This is a structured session, providing a safe space to untangle business problems amongst peers from non-competing organsations. Facilitated by an experienced coach, each person within a group of 4 to 6 people has an opportunity to present a problem, issue or opportunity and receive help from other members; help in defining the problem more precisely, in defining the desired solution, creating options, and selecting a strategy.

It sounds simple, and it is; and it’s also profound in its effect on the members and their organisations.

We know that time is the biggest challenge for businesses to release their people. But think of those thorny problems that will get resolved more quickly; and the learning to be had from other people’s problems.

There will be two sessions – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Please book your preferred time. If you would like to stay or arrive for lunch, you are welcome to use this time to network with other attendees. Food can be purchased from the bar.

As we know that HR people are good at supporting others but not so good at making time for their own CPD, so we have priced the event to encourage you to attend with someone else with your organisation. You can of course attend on your own!

As a result of attending this event you will:

  • Experience the value of focusing time in a structured way to take an issue forward
  • Have progressed a problem or idea to a plan or clearer idea
  • Benefited from the sharing of expertise and having your thinking challenged in a supportive environment

The only requirement is to bring with you an issue or challenge that you would like time to focus upon.

Our Speaker(s):

The sessions will be facilitated by a team of experienced coaches, accredited with the International Coaching Federation.
