Talking Menopause

Menopausal women are the fastest growing group of workers in the UK. Despite it being a natural life process for women, the menopause – and how symptoms can affect your employees at work – are rarely discussed.

Studies have shown around 50% of women have reported finding work somewhat or fairly difficult due to their menopausal symptons and for every ten women experiencing menopausal symptoms, six say it has a negative impact on their work.

Talking Menopause are one of the leading providers of seminars, coaching and individually tailored programmes helping organisations transform their culture and create menopause-friendly workplaces.

We will explore the effects the menopause can have on many women’s experience at work and what employers can do to create a culture of openness around the menopause.

Key discussion points will include:

  • Key facts, definition and symptoms
  • Impact on women in the workplace
  • Relevent employment legislation to be aware of
  • Examples of what employers can do to support employees
  • Questions and answers

Refreshments will be served from 17:30hrs with the event starting promptly at 18:00hrs.
