CIPR Cymru Conference 2019:
Making the most of our digital skills

Digital technology is now a part of our everyday lives, and an essential part of our work. But what does the future of digital PR look like and how can we make the most of the technology available to us to tell amazing stories?

This year’s CIPR Cymru Annual Conference will explore this question, exploring what the future holds for social media and what impact Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have on the industry. We’ll also have workshops that will look at how we can make engaging content through digital storytelling and get the most out of our photos.

We’ll be joined by:

  • Dan Tyte, Managing Director of Working Word PR and contributor to CIPR’s Share This: A PR’s Social Media Handbook and its sequel
  • Kerry Sheehan, Vice Chair of the CIPR’s Artificial Intelligence (AIinPR) Panel
  • Chris Fairweather, professional PR, advertising and sports photographer
  • Darren Waters, Managing Editor at the Office for National Statistics

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and this event is worth 10 CPD points.

The 2019 CIPR Cymru AGM (starts at 5pm)
will be held straight after the conference, where we’ll be joined by CIPR President Emma Leech.

Every year at the AGM, CIPR members have the opportunity to join the Cymru committee. We're a motivated, dedicated and passionate bunch and we're always looking for others to join us. If you're interested please get in touch. To put your name forward, email Committee Secretary Edwina O’Hart (Edwina-O'Hart@chcymru.org.uk) by the 1st October.

Cynhadledd CIPR Cymru 2019:
Gwneud y gorau o'n sgiliau digidol

Mae technoleg ddigidol yn rhan o'n bywydau bellwch, ac yn rhan hanfodol o'n gwaith. Ond sut olwg sydd yna ar ddyfodol cysylltiadau cyhoeddus digidol a sut allwn wneud y gorau o'r dechnoleg sydd ar gael er mwyn dweud straeon anhygoel?

Fe fydd Cynhadledd Flynyddol CIPR Cymru eleni yn archwilio'r cwestiwn hwn. Fe fyddwn yn bwrw golwg ar ddyfodol y cyfryngau cymdeithasol a sut y bydd Deallusrwydd Artiffisial (sef AI) yn effeithio ar y diwydiant. Bydd yna weithdai yn edrych ar sut y gallwn greu cynnwys diddorol trwy rannu straeon digidol a chael y gorau o'n ffotograffau.

Yn ymuno â ni fydd:

  • Dan Tyte, Rheolwr Gyfarwyddwr Working Word PR a chyfrannwr at Share This: A PR’s Social Media Handbook a'r llyfr ddaeth yn ddilynol
  • Kerry Sheehan, Is-gadeirydd Panel Deallusrwydd Artiffisial CIPR (AIinPR)
  • Chris Fairweather, cysylltiadau cyhoeddus, hysbysebu a ffotograffydd chwaraeon proffesiynol
  • Darren Waters, Golygydd Rheoli, Swyddfa Ystadegau Gwladol

Darperir lluniaeth yn ystod y dydd ac mae'r digwyddiad hwn yn werth 10 pwynt DPP.

Cynhelir Cyfarfod Cyffredinol Blynyddol CIPR Cymru 2019
yn syth ar ôl y gynhadledd, lle bydd Arlywydd CIPR, Emma Leech, yn ymuno â ni. Bob blwyddyn yn y CCB, mae aelodau'r CIPR yn cael cyfle i ymuno â phwyllgor Cymru.

Rydym yn bobl brwdfrydig, ymroddedig ac angerddol, a rydym wastad yn chwilio am bobl eraill i ymuno â ni. Os oes diddordeb gennych, cysylltwch â ni. Er mwyn rhoi eich enw ymlaen, anfonwch e-bost at Ysgrifennydd y Pwyllgor, Edwina O'Hart (Edwina-O'Hart@chcymru.org.uk) erbyn 1 Hydref.
