Measurement and the PR Professional: How can you demonstrate the value of PR?
Barry Leggetter, CEO of AMEC – the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication – will lead this session on the importance of measurement to the PR industry.
With the deadline for the CIPR Scotland Pride Awards fast approaching this event is a must for those looking to evidence effective evaluation in their submissions and find out more about the judging criteria.
A former PR professional and CEO of the UK office of three global networks, Porter Novelli, GOLIN and FleishmanHillard, Barry has vast experience in public relations consultancy and demonstrating the value of PR to clients.
This event will cover:
Overview of the Barcelona Principles: what do you need to know?
- How clients and PR professionals are starting to take measurement more seriously
- The measurement “fear factor” and how to get over it
- Measurement on a budget: how you can still cover the basics
- Best practice
It will be a lively and interactive session. To ensure it covers your own evaluation and measurement needs we are asking all participants to email at least one question in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org after booking this event.
Networking will be from 6pm with the event starting promptly at 6.30pm. It will be followed by a Q&A and chance for further networking at the end.
Wine and soft drinks will be provided.
