Circle of Peers Lunch and Discuss
A more formal meeting with topical discussions and presentations. Groups meet under Chatham House Rules to share, support, and where appropriate learn from each other. We will provide lunch and of course lots of coffee!
The aim of these meetings are to:
- Presentations from industry leading People Professionals
- Bounce around ideas
- Discuss problems and share solutions
- Share successes and pitfalls in different approaches
Topic - People Professionals Have a Responsibility for Developing Leaders
This year at the Sussex Circle of Peers events we have looked at the changing face of Learning and Development in the workplace and last time explored the concept of The Compassionate Leader and discussed the evidence is that compassionate leaders have more productive and loyal people.
During our September meeting of People Professionals we are going to be looking at what is HR’s role in developing good leaders within their organisation.
As ever Maureen Scholefield will give her insights into the role that she believes people professionals have when developing leaders to maximise the potential of their people so that the organisation is not only agile but high performing.
