What can you expect from our summer Circle of Peers topic?

We’re entering a new dawn, with immense possibility on the horizon. Businesses can either grasp the mantle, transform their IT, workforce and security, and play a defining role in the future, or be left behind.

We have commissioned the research for this series to provide a comparative analysis of the distinct approaches shaping the concept and development of a future-facing workforce within three key regions: the Middle East, Africa, and the UK. As well as defining the factors influencing decisions, we will consider the policies, national and educational frameworks, and skills development programmes being put in place. Out of this will come the trends, differences and implications for areas such as talent acquisition, skills development, employee relations, diversity and inclusion and overall People Management models.

After brief introductions for attendees, Maureen Scholefield will introduce the topic and our guest contributor, Faryal Baig. We'll encourage you to consider and discuss the concepts with your peers - bringing in your own experiences when possible. We expect some hearty discussion and a chance to meet or reconnect with your peers across the industry.

We will be drawing upon the latest news and case studies in HR/L&D. The Circle of Peers Virtual is designed to provide the chance to participate in stimulating and topical discussions and presentations using Zoom. Using breakout rooms for larger groups to keep the conversation going, we meet under Chatham House Rules to share, support, and where appropriate learn from each other.

Tickets to our Circle of Peers events are offered on a complimentary basis, but do run on a first come, first served basis. In order to get real participation we will limit the numbers to 24, so please reserve your place as soon as you are able.
