Maureen is actually a learner at the moment studying Mastering Digital Marketing at London Business School. She is finding it fascinating to be in this role.
People professionals can always take ideas from marketing – the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) or think of it as brand building blocks. One idea that Maureen was reminded about was “Make an emotional connection”. That got her thinking – it doesn’t take much!
She will stimulate your grey cells on this topic and then over to you for discussion!

The aims of these meetings are to:
Enjoy presentations from industry leading People Professionals
Bounce around ideas
Discuss problems and share solutions
Share successes and pitfalls in different approaches
We will be drawing upon the latest news and case studies in HR/L&D. The Circle of Peers Virtual is designed to provide the chance to participate in stimulating and topical discussions and presentations using Zoom. With a maximum of 4 breakout rooms with a maximum of 6 peers in each room. We meet under Chatham House Rules to share, support, and where appropriate learn from each other.
We normally offer lunch and refreshments so please bring your coffee, water, with you - we are good but have not yet managed to send virtual drinks and food!
Tickets to our Circle of Peers events are offered on a complimentary basis, but do run on a first come, first served basis. In order to get real participation we will limit the numbers to 24, so please reserve your place as soon as you are able.
