About this Event

In order to keep all of our participants and volunteers safe during the Circuit of Bath, we have decided to limit the number of participants to 500. This will ensure we can adhere to proper social distancing measures at the 5 start / checkpoints keeping people safe, and so that people feel comfortable and enjoy the day.

The sale of tickets has now ended but, in case of cancellations, we have created a reserves list for anyone who would like to do the walk but missed out on tickets.

With stunning views and landscapes across the historical city of Bath, by taking part in the Circuit of Bath Walk you’ll get to explore the city and its countryside in a completely new way. In addition, by raising sponsorship, you’ll be helping us to provide life changing support to over 1,400 vulnerable men, women and children across the region. It’s a grim realisation, that without support like ours, the life expectancy of a long-term homeless person is just 45 years! But you can help change that.

Coronavirus has had a devastating effect on our income and ability to fund our life changing services. But your participation and sponsorship raised will help enable us to continue supporting and empowering socially excluded people to build sustainable and independent lives.

Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the walk, but it's the money you raise through sponsorship that goes towards helping us support vulnerable men, women and children in our care. While there is no minimum target, we hope you'll aim to raise as much as possible. If everyone aimed to raise just £60 - £100 each, we could raise thousands to help support people sleeping rough on our streets.

There are routes to suit most abilities and ages. Make the most of the day and challenge yourself to take on the full 20-mile route in 2020 or a distance of your choosing thanks to our free shuttle bus service. For everyone who does completes the epic 20-mile route, we will award them with a special commemorative medal to mark their achievement.

Dogs are very welcome and everyone taking part will receive a special waterproof route map and instructions to be stamped at each checkpoint. We've also created a designated push chair route along the canal for young families.

No tickets will be sold on the day. Tickets need to be bought in advance. In order to keep all of our participants, volunteers and staff safe at the Circuit of Bath, we have decided to limit the number of participants to 500. This will ensure we can adhere to proper social distancing measures, to not only, and most importantly, keep people safe during this current time but also so that people feel comfortable and enjoy the day. Sales of tickets will end when we reach this limit. We will be creating a reserves list for anyone who would like to do the walk but missed out on tickets. (Available at www.circuitofbathwalk.co.uk)If another participant can no longer take part in the walk, this place will be offered to those in the reserves list.

Your entry includes:

  • Fundraising and training support, ideas and tips
  • Special waterproof map and route instructions with Circuit of Bath lanyard
  • Qualified first aid and medical support
  • Refreshment stops with water and snacks
  • Snacks and water for dogs at each checkpoint
  • A medal for finishers of the full 20-mile route
  • Free shuttle bus service between check points
