Circuit Stewards Community of Practice

Are you a Circuit Steward and do you feel you could benefit from connecting with other Circuits Stewards -- to share what's happening for you in your role and oversight, and to learn what's happening in others' contexts? Would you also like to be in closer dialogue with members of the Connexional Team who have specific responsibilites for mission areas that relate to your role and responsibilities? Would you like a space to ask questions about your role and mission, to share your insights, celebrations and challenges...to listen and learn as a community?

If so, please join this Circuit Stewards' Community of Practice, that is facilitated by the Learning Network and wider Connexional Team. This growing community meets on Zoom each last Wednesday of the month (excluding August and December), where Connexional Team members with insights and expertise from particular mission areas share their wisdom and knowledge, invite discussion, listen and learn what's happening for those present, and respond to any key questions that have been prepared, or that emerge. These session also offer the opportunity to connect with other Circuit Stewards, to build relationships and share experiences and knowledge together.

The Community of Practice sessions will explore many of the practical, missional aspects of Circuit Stewarding including: property, finance, mission planning, climate care, trusteeship and governance, leadership and management, EDI/JDS, justice-seeking, lay employment, managing conflict and good conversations... and more!
