What is the "Circular Cities Week"?

This fall, the Circular Economy Club (CEC) will celebrate its inaugural "Circular Cities Week" global event. During the week, CEC City Organizers in more than 100 cities will organize workshops to identify opportunities and next steps to encourage implementation of the circular economy in their cities.

What is the Circular Strategies Workshop @Brussels?

For the Circular Strategies Workshop on November 14th @Hub.Brussels, we focus on 4 sectors with high potential for the region of Brussels: Food, Water, Textile and Packaging.

Participants:

It is an invitation-only event with representing the main stakeholders involved in each sector, including corporations, policy-makers, NGO's and circular economy experts.

- The ecosystem Approach , Béatrice de Maheu, CEO at Co-station

- EU Government Support towards Circular Economy, Josefine Koehler, Policy Advisor at Ecopreneur.eu and European Sustainable Business Federation

- Brussels Government Support towards Circular Economy, Anthony Naralingom, Coordinator Circular Economy at hub.brussels

- Making Food, Packaging and Textile within Brussels I Panel moderated by Vanessa Vivian Wabitsch, Circular Project Manager at Revolve

10h30:

Dispatch in 4 groups of 6 to 10 people depending on their sector, participants will identify:

- the key circular opportunities to tackle,

- some concrete suggestions of political support at Brussels level,

- the necessary ecosystems to build in order to co-create circular solutions at a systemic level,

- the decision-makers who need to be involve.

After the effort, the reward! We will therefore finish by a networking lunch ;-)
