Overview

This free to attend workshop hosted by the H2020 funded project SCREEN (Synergic CirculaR Economy across European regioNs) aims to bring together European stakeholders from across the Circular Economy sector to share some of the excellence and best practice of a number of regional initiatives and state-of-the-art regarding innovative approaches developed in H2020 projects. We are delighted that a representative from the European Commission will join us for this event.

In the morning session you will hear from representatives from Scotland / UK, Frysland / Netherlands, Denmark and Lombardy / Italy, giving an insight into latest Circular Economy and Smart Specialisation thinking and approaches in their regions.

In the afternoon session, a number of European Circular Economy projects and initiatives, will share latest state-of-the art thinking on approaches to achieving a Circular Economy such as remanufacturing and new business models. The presentation will be followed by round table discussions, which will allow a deeper conversation on cross-regional opportunities, value chains, synergies and business models / finance. You will be able to choose your top three round table discussion topics on the registration form.

There will be an exhibition / networking area throughout the day and attendees representing Circular Economy projects / initiatives are invited to bring pull-up banners / posters / flyers. If you would like to exhibit, please indicate this on the registrations form.

The day will close with a networking reception with canapes and drinks.

This workshop is organised in collaboration with the UK’s National Contact Point for H2020 for Societal Challenge 5 and the European Enterprise Network.
