Announcing the 2018 Circular Economy Summit, this year hosted and organised by Tevi and featuring many of the enterprises that are part of our rapidly growing programme.

We are looking for sustainability and circular economy-focused businesses to come along and take part; this is an opportunity to lead and be part of the circular economy in Cornwall.

Opportunities:

  • Hear about best practice in the circular economy from our keynote speakers,
  • Guide the development of Cornwall’s circular economy by choosing themed sessions to take part in,
  • Network with other businesses and researchers who can help expand your business.

Working agenda includes:

  • Introduction to Tevi and the University of Exeter's brand new Centre of Circular Economy
  • Keynote presentations by Peter Laybourn (International Synergies Ltd.) and Paul Strike (Fourth Element and Global Ghost Gear Initiative) focusing on successful case studies and examples of best practice from Cornwall
  • Breakout sessions themed around waste, nature, energy, technology, creative, and finance focusing on practical applications and future actions for your business within the circular economy
  • Presentations on the Cornwall Sustainability Awards and forthcoming opportunities for Tevi grant funding

Organiser Tevi

Organiser of Circular Economy Summit

Tevi (Cornish for ‘grow’) is a brand new ERDF-funded venture aiming to support economic and environmental growth in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (CIoS). The initiative, which runs over the next 3 years, provides small and medium-sized enterprises across the county with expert consultation, opportunities for recognition and certification, as well as access to grant funding, in order to further contribute to CIoS’ unique strategic commitment to environmental growth. Tevi also supports enterprises to become more efficient with their natural resource use, to minimise their waste and increase recycling initiatives as part of the global transition towards a circular economy. The venture is led by the University of Exeter, and is delivered through a partnership with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Cornwall Council and the Cornwall Development Company. To hear more about what Tevi can do for your enterprise, please see www.tevi.co.uk or contact us at info@tevi.co.uk.
