Event description

Description

Findings from the Big CACTUS project, EVA Park Therapy, CITCEN Toolkit and more!

Join us for our next computers in therapy clinical excellence network (CIT CEN) meeting in Bristol. We'll be hearing the exciting outcomes from the Big CACTUS randomised control trial about the clinical and cost effectiveness of aphasia computer treatment versus usual stimulation or attention control. Attendees will get a chance to hear breaking news about the results of this really big clinical trial of computer therapy for aphasia - (278 participants!).

We'll also be hearing from Richard Talbot, Speech and Language Therapist Researcher about the latest outcomes from the EVA research team - including details of how group support for aphasia is being delivered within the virtual world of EVA Park.

Finally, you will learn more about our member-developed project, the CITCEN toolkit - a detailed resource which aims to help SLTs overcome barriers to technology use in their clinical practice.

Plus, of course, the essential opportunities for tea and networking will also be included.

Come along!

Fee: £20 to be paid on the day
