Citizen focused health and care in Leeds: how we are doing it and what are the opportunities for business?
Hosted by Emma Cheshire of Dotforge and Futurelabs_, this seminar shares stories about where we have come from and where we are going in terms of citizen focused and digitally enabled health and care systems. The seminar will be an opportunity to find out about how technologies are making health and care better for citizens in Leeds. The Leeds care record, personal health record, patient online and electronic patient prescriptions are just some of the initiatives we will be sharing. - Julie Oxley - portfolio lead for self management and rapid response for the Leeds Digital team
- Phil Barrett - programme manager at Ripple OSI
- Alexandra Stephens - social worker for Leeds City Council.

This seminar will be of particular interest to health tech SMEs who want to understand the ambition for citizen focused health and care and how their innovations may support this direction of travel.

Futurelabs is a 10-15 minute walk from Leeds Train Station and there is ample pay and display car parking available at Templar Lane/Edward Street car park, Victoria Gate car park or Quarry Hill car park - all of which are within walking distance.
