Join us for a day of tree maintenance and planting and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We will be doing tree maintenance and planting, giving our young trees at Silverdale some Tree-LC. We will be carrying out this work to ensure that the these trees reach establishment and create woodland areas that will support the local wildlife whilst also responding to the climate emergency,
All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day - you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and children

Parking/public transport
- There is parking on Vale Avenue
- If you're travelling by public transport, Pendlebury Road bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the event.
About the site
Silverdale is a large public park. The area where we will be working has uneven ground and tall vegitation. the working area can be accessed by a footpath. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
