The Details
Join us for a day of tree planting and maintenance and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We'll be working on tree maintenance, giving our young trees at Horses Field some Tree-LC. We will be carrying out this work to ensure that the these trees reach establishment and create woodland areas that will support the local wildlife whilst also responding to the climate emergency.
This work will involve using sharp tools like shears, loppers, secateurs, and other tools like spades.
All tools and training will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day - you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and older children. If you are interested in bringing young children to this event please contact our team to see how you can be involved.
