Welcome to Citizens Advice Mole Valley Musical Afternoon!

Join us at St John's School, Leatherhead for a unique and entertaining musical afternoon. Crispian Steele-Perkins, acclaimed trumpet virtuoso, is bringing his solo show to Leatherhead for a special one-off performance, supporting the work of local charity, Citizens Advice Mole Valley.

Crispian is perhaps best known for playing the signature tune to “The Antiques Roadshow”, enjoyed by millions every Sunday. He has performed at the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. In the early part of his long career he played in major orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and English National Opera.

Crispian has been described as ‘the world’s foremost exponent of the Baroque Trumpet’. In 2015 the BBC selected his recording of Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto as the best available. He has played on many film and TV scores and accompanied singers such as Dame Kiri te Kawana, Bryn Terfel, Kate Bush and Sir Cliff Richard. His varied career includes playing lead trumpet for Led Zeppelin and Frank Zappa. In 2023 he was presented with a lifetime achievement award by the National Centre for Early Music.

This special event will celebrate the work of Citizens Advice Mole Valley. For over 85 years, we have provided free, independent, confidential and impartial advice on issues such as benefits, housing, debt, family & relationships, work and much more to thousands of local people every year in our community.
