Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire is pleased to invite you to the launch of its new Advice Centre in Yate.
Please join us for refreshments and cake to celebrate the opening of our new community Advice Centre. This will be an informal celebration with an opportunity to hear about our work, chat to our Team and meet other representatives from communities across South Gloucestershire.
The charity has moved to a larger building after being based at Kennedy Way, Yate for more than half of its 51-year history. The move was needed due to the rising demand for our services and the growth of our team in response.
We helped more than 8,800 people in 2024-25, our busiest year on record - with more people than ever needing the charity’s free, independent and confidential support in areas such as benefits, debt, cost-of-living issues, housing, relationship breakdown and much more. The improved facility will allow us to grow and develop our service and help more local people in the years ahead.
We look forward to seeing you there!
- Due to the numbers expected to attend this event we are unable to provide parking at the Advice Centre. Please use the local park and ride on Badminton Road - a short ten-minute walk away - or the train station car park which is next to the venue.
