Event description
American premiere of the "Citizenship in a Networked Age" report with speakers: Roz Picard, Nancy Snow, Dominic Burbidge & Andrew Briggs

About this Event

The breathtaking speed of digitalization in our "networked age" confronts us with entirely new ethical and social questions: how to maintain a common world of citizenship, how to behave in the network and preserve our humanity, where do we have to position control mechanisms, if any, and how to design institutions and regulations, e.g. for owning and managing our data, etc.?

Supported by Templeton World Charity Foundation and the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University, Oxford academic Dominic Burbidge has produced a groundbreaking report, "Citizenship in a Networked Age," with recommendations on how to navigate these questions.

The American Launch Event for this report will take place on Harvard University's campus, April 20th at 4:30pm in the Tsai Auditorium of CGIS building South. The address is 1730 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02138.
