A great opportunity to learn the basic repairs needed to be able to maintain a bike

About this Event

Whether starting your road to becoming a qualified mechanic or just wanting to learn the basics of maintaining your own bike, this course will give you the foundations and knowledge you need.

The course will cover:

  • Changing an inner tube
  • Replacing brake blocks
  • lubricating and maintaining your chain
  • Adjusting saddles, seatposts and handlebars
  • Checking a bike before use

All participants will receive an accredited qualification with certificates issued by City and Guilds.

Courses are delivered by a qualified and experienced mechanic with a class size of no more than three people. Training bikes, tools, gloves and aprons supplied. Appropriate Covid Secure Protocols will be in place.

Minimum age:

  • 16 years old if attending without a responsible adult also booking to attend.
  • 12 years old if attending with a responsible adult that is also booked to attend.
