City & Guilds - Maths and English Regional Network (Yorkshire)
Wed 26 April 2017, 10:00 – 13:00 BST
This network meeting, hosted by our Maths and English Technical Advisor, is an opportunity to catch up on the latest developments with City & Guilds’ maths and English products and services.
As well as a quick tour of the policy landscape and an update on our Functional Skills (3748) qualifications, we’ll discuss how our two ‘developmental’ suites of qualifications – Mathematics/English Skills (3847) and Principles of Mathematics/English (3844) can be used to help support learner progression. We’ll touch on how/when adult funding can be accessed for these qualifications, as well as how they can be used within study programmes.
There’ll be an overview of our ESOL Skills for Life (4692) suite, as well as our Level 3 Core Maths qualification (Using and Applying Mathematics – 3849).
So, plenty to talk about; but also - crucially - a chance to network with other maths and English practitioners and managers, share good practice ideas, frustrations, challenges you’ve overcome…
Whilst the network is free of charge, you will need to register by clicking on the link above.
NB: places are limited to a maximum of two attendees per organisation.
