Description

This free half day network will support those delivering the following qualifications:

City & Guilds Level 2 Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development: Practice

City & Guilds Level 3 Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development: Practice

WJEC Level 2 Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development: Practice and Theory

There are repeat AM and PM sessions which will run concurrently with networks supporting the CCPLD Core qualification. Participants wishing to attend both the Practice and Core networks can choose to attend AM or PM sessions for both meetings on the same day or another date / location. Please register separately for the L2 CCPLD Core network via the website here: https://www.healthandcarelearning.wales/training-and-events/

It will be supported by technical advisers and subject specialists from the awarding bodies and will provide opportunities for centres to discuss their experiences of delivering and preparing candidates for the qualifications so far, their content, internal assessment and external assessment.

The session will provide delegates with the opportunity to:

Share good practice and discuss effective delivery models

Explore best practice regarding the components of the internally set tasks including the reflective log and the assessor-led/professional discussion.

Celebrate innovative approaches to employer engagement and involvement.

Explore the expectations of the new Apprenticeship Framework

Explore resources to support best practice in Internal Verification

Reviewing the examination content for Unit 216 and the planned preparation models for the examination.

Question and answer opportunities with the technical adviser and subject specialists

IMPORTANT NOTES

Centres (individual centre numbers) may register up to two participants for each session.

This will be a digital event and so we ask that all delegates bring a digital device with them on the day. Any documents or papers that will be referred to during the event will be shared by email before the event date. Delegates should download these as preferred and have access to them on the day.

Refreshments will be provided. Lunch will NOT be provided although participants are invited to bring their own lunch or use the facilities available at the venue or locally.
