Take in some of the capital's greatest monuments and discover the dramatic transformation of Nine Elms and Battersea

In an exciting new collaboration with MBNA Thames Clippers, join NLA for bespoke guided architecture tours on the River Thames. We’ll be exploring London’s changing skyline from the vantage point of the water and discovering how the river has helped to shape the city’s built environment for nearly two thousand years.

14:20 departure (sharp!)
15:25 disembark LBC Pier

In collaboration with MBNA Thames Clippers

MBNA Thames Clippers is the leading River Bus service on the River Thames. Their high-speed catamarans run at 20 minute intervals between key London piers including North Greenwich for The O2, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Tower, London Bridge City, Westminster and London Eye for Waterloo, as well as several residential piers. Having grown from a one-boat operation in 1999 to a fleet of 19, they now carry 4.2 million passengers a year.

Organiser New London Architecture

Organiser of City Skyline West Boat Tours: London Bridge to Wandsworth

New London Architecture (NLA) is the world’s leading centre for excellence for the built environment.

Our purpose is to improve the quality of people’s lives by making London a better place to live, work and visit. Our vision for London is set out in The New London Charter, a declaration of the values that drive NLA’s policies and programme.

NLA’s research themes can be found here, through these we examine the key opportunities and challenges facing London. We produce research, exhibitions, events and publications year-round, to share knowledge and debate these themes. As an independent member-supported organisation, our audience brings together the public, government, and cross-sector professionals both in London and internationally.

We have a public gallery in London featuring large scale interactive models of the capital.
