Overview

Help shape a dashboard supporting universities to take a more data-driven approach to creating positive civic impact.

As part of The Young Foundation's work with the National Civic Impact Accelerator, we’re excited to share the final outputs of our research at this one-hour online event. This will include sharing the latest iteration of the Civic Impact Dashboard.

Over the past year, we’ve engaged with colleagues across the higher education sector to better understand how place-based data is currently used in civic university work, the challenges institutions face, and the opportunities to strengthen practice. We’re deeply grateful for the insights and ambitions shared throughout these conversations.

The latest version of the dashboard currently includes data on cultural and economic impact domains, which you can access here. It is designed to help higher education institutions explore their contributions across the seven civic impact domains and understand how these relate to local conditions. We are now working on completely all seven impact domains.

Join us for our final online user-testing workshop where we will:

  • Demo the completed dashboard, including seven civic impact data domains
  • Gather feedback on accessibility, navigation and data design
  • Refine the tool ahead of its public launch later this year

Your input will be invaluable in shaping a dashboard that supports universities in taking a more data-driven approach to their civic role.

Register now to secure your place and help shape the future of civic data in higher education.
