Developing a Civic University Agreement for a university in London presents unique challenges and opportunities. Join colleagues from across the capital to discuss what it means to be truly civic in London, and how we can collaborate to add value to this work.

10am – Welcome and introductions, Paul Manners (Director, National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement) and Philippa Lloyd (Vice Principal for Policy and Strategic Partnerships, Queen Mary University of London)
10.20am – Case studies from the Civic University Network, sharing updates on civic work so far
10.40am – Breakout groups to meet colleagues from other institutions and to discuss current work
10.55am – Break
11.05am – Plenary - Emily Morrison (Head, Institute of Community Studies), "What does it mean to be civic in London?"
11.20am – Breakout groups, discussion of key actions and common themes
11.45am – Summary and actions from the first meeting of the Civic University Network’s London forum.
