Civil Service Connect in Plymouth
We are holding a networking event on the 15th January 2020 for all Civil Service departments based in or very close to Plymouth.
About this event
Civil Service Connect is open to Civil Servants at all grades. The event will be a mix of stalls from the departments in the city, speakers and informal networking activities.
The Plastic Pollution team from the Environment Agency will be running talks during the day. The team will discuss what can be done in your workplace, at home and in your local community to help reduce plastic pollution. This is an opportunity to explore the important issue of plastic pollution and sustainability – a cross departmental issue that affects us all.
The event will be based around the vision for a 'Brilliant Civil Service' which encourages departments to be connected and innovative, promoting the Civil Service as a great place to work. The aim is that attendees get a better understanding of the work various departments do, an opportunity to network with colleagues and share ideas that help us all to ‘see the big picture’.
When: 15th January 2020
Where: The Council Chambers, Princess Street, Plymouth, PL1 2AA
Time: Morning session 9.00 till 12.30 or afternoon 12.30 till 15.30
