Civil Service Connect is open to Civil Servants at all grades. The event will be a mix of stalls from the departments in the city, opportunities to learn from guest speakers and informal networking activities. There will also be coffee and cake on sale to raise funds for a local charity.
The event will be based around the vision for a 'Brilliant Civil Service' which encourages departments to be connected and innovative, promoting the Civil Service as a great place to work. The aim is that attendees get a better understanding of the work various departments do, an opportunity to network with colleagues and share ideas that help us all to ‘see the big picture’.

If you would like to register to attend, please do so online via Eventbrite. Places will be limited, so book early if you would like to attend. You will need to seek approval from your line manager and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department. This can count towards your 5 a year learning and development days. More information on the arrangements for the event will be issued to attendees nearer the time.
Please be aware there is is parking available at the venue, but this will be very limited. Attendees are encouraged to car share where possible to reduce demand for parking spaces.
