Event description
Civil Society: What Next for London? Our Message to the Next Mayor of London

About this Event

London is the most diverse and vibrant city in the world, with a civil society to match. London Plus champions London’s civil society through insight, influence and powerful connections. Central to this is our message that the work of civil society must be accessible, inclusive, responds to the needs of Londoners and contributes to tackling inequalities.

This conference will bring together a wide range of civil society organisations, and those supporting and enabling civil society actions through funding, CSR and volunteering, to identify priorities for a civil society manifesto for the London Mayoral elections in May 2020.

Come and hear speakers from organisations working on the critical issues for London set out the priorities they have identified for Mayoral candidates, vote for the proposals you think are the most important and tell us what we have missed. Join the discussion on systems change and shape the future of civil society in London.

Speakers include: Centre for London, London Sustainability Exchange, Charity Finance Directors Group, My Fair London, Inclusion London, the CVS Network, the Volunteer Centre Network, Ageing Better, London Funders and, the newly appointed Domestic Abuse Commissioner.A small buffet lunch will be provided.
