CIVIS Education Disciplinary Meeting: Introductions and Synergies

The School of Education at the University of Glasgow has undertaken to organise a disciplinary event to enable academics across the consortium to learn about each other’s current activities and share best practices in order to foster collaboration for joint research and teaching.

In order to focus on the exploration and extension of synergies between consortium partners and make use of what we have collectively learned about how to work online, we have decided to arrange the event in two distinct phases to ensure we move beyond introductions to the essential task of networking. The first event will focus on introductions of possible synergies and will be held on the 29th October and the follow up Network Event will be held on the 3rd December.

The meetings will take place online, with an estimated duration of 2 hours. Prior to the meeting, participants will be asked to fill in an online questionnaire that asks consortium partners to share their institutional highlights in relation to Education and themes for possible synergy in advance of the event.

• Introductions and Synergies Event – 29th October 2021 – 10.30-13.00 CET
• Registration for follow up Network event – 15th November 2021
• Network Event – 3rd December 2021- 10.30-13.00 CET
