Trust in the police and wider criminal justice system is rightly a hot topic at the moment. But how do we measure trust? What builds trust with those impacted by the CJS and the wider public? What does trusted criminological research look like? How do we achieve systemic change together to improve trust?

Join us for a day of talks, interactive workshops, exhibitions and facilitated discussions to break down silos, explore the latest research and make connections.

We are aiming to bring together academics, practitioners, policy makers and people impacted by the CJS to share learning, insights and ideas. Discussions, short video clips and photos from the day will be used to create an open resource on Trust in the CJS.

1 - 1.15pm (Walk to Regent Street Campus - a 5 minute walk)

1.15 - 4.05 ( Part Two - 3 x 50 min workshops at Regent Street Campus)

4.05 - 4.20 (Walk back to Cavendish Campus - a 5 minute walk)

4.20 - 4.45 (Final roundup and reflections in The Pavillion Room)

The Centre for Social Justice Research (CSJR) was established in January 2023 to support, develop, and publicize social justice research in Westminster’s School of Social Sciences.
