CKI Guyana Dinner & Dance Fundraiser
Looking for something different for Mother’s Day? Why not treat that special lady to an exquisite evening of fantastic entertainment and good food (that she won’t have to cook!) AND raise money for a great cause at the same time!
Carib Kids International (CKI) was set up under the umbrella of Springfield Restoration Ministries, to facilitate families in Guyana, after it was discovered that many grandparents were the main carers of their grandchildren who were orphaned at a young age. It was becoming increasingly difficult for the grandparents to manage financially and this was causing hardship to many families.
The aim of this Project is to identify families in need and find sponsorship to assist them, thereby enabling them to enhance their educational prospects and make a positive contribution as citizens of their individual countries. This Project will also be extended to various parts of the Caribbean as and when we identify in each island both a co-ordinator and specific areas of need.
We endeavour to bring about changes to the lives of children and young people in the Caribbean through education.
This Dinner & Dance is to raise funds for a Community centre in Georgetown, which will accommodate the various activities of CKI Guyana.
