Join us for one in a series of regional Good Food Conversations which will feed into our Forth Valley Food Summit on Wednesday 16th June.
About this event
Forth Environment Link (FEL) is in partnership with NHS Forth Valley creating a study into finding sustainable and dignified solutions to food insecurity in Forth Valley. The research project aims to tackle food poverty, diet related ill-health and access to affordable healthy food by bringing people and organisations together to devise and develop long term actions that that improve the local food system.
We are hosting a series of digital Good Food Conversations in Forth Valley to compliment this study and feed into our Forth Valley Food Summit event on the 16th June which will bring together all of our findings and form a strategy moving forward.
This event is hosted on Zoom and will be a two hour (with breaks) open discussion featuring speakers from the Forth Valley community, along with a chance for Q&A and conversation around the topic.
Forth Environment Link (FEL) is a Scottish environmental charity, based in the Forth Valley, leading the way on connecting people and place on actions which make a positive response to the Climate Emergency. We support more day to day journeys on foot or by bike; we encourage more local food to be grown and eaten in our communities; and we help increase the lifespan of our everyday items.
