The 2017 Clare Hall Tanner Lecture will be delivered by Ambassador Melanne Verveer, Executive Director of the Institute for Women, Peace & Security in Washington, USA
Ambassador Melanne Verveer's lecture will be entitled "A gendered approach to peace building”.
The lecture will be held at 5.00pm on 8 February in LG19, The Law Faculty, Sidgwick Site, West Road, Cambridge.
Following the lecture there will be a reception and dinner at Clare Hall.
Please specify whether you wish to book a Lecture only ticket or a Lecture plus Dinner ticket.
Tickets for the Dinner are open to invitees only.
If you are booking for the Lecture plus Dinner ticket please let us know of any dietary requirements. Please note, although there is no charge for this dinner, non-attendance without cancellation in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org will incur a charge.
On Thursday 9 February, Professor Seyla Benhabib, Eugene Mayer Professor of Political Science and Philosophy at Yale University, Professor Willy Brown CBE, Emeritus Master of Darwin College and Emeritus Professor of Industrial Relations at Cambridge University, Baroness Arminka Helić, Member of House of Lords International Relations Committee and Professor Monica McWilliams, Professor of Women's Studies and Social Policy at the University of Ulster and co-founder of the Northern Ireland Women's Coalition, will respond, each approaching Ambassador Verveer’s lectures from different perspectives.
This will take place at LG18 in the Law Faculty, starting at 5.00pm.
