Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Harassment (DASH)

A nationally recognised tool used to assess the risks faced by individuals experiencing domestic abuse and to inform safety planning.

Course Objectives:

• Enhance understanding of the DASH risk assessment process.

• Build confidence and skills in completing effective risk assessments.

• Learn about local agencies that support victims and how to refer to them.

An in-depth course for those seeking to deepen their understanding and improve their support for victims/survivors.

• Managing disclosures

• Providing a trauma-informed response

• Avoiding victim-blaming language

• The link between domestic abuse and suicide

• The impact of domestic abuse on children

• Protective orders

• Local services and referral pathways

DALLI – Domestic Abuse & Life-Limiting Illness

Developed from the DALLI study (2021–2023) by the University of Southampton, funded by NIHR ARC Wessex. This course explores domestic abuse in the context of life-limiting illness.

Course Aim: To equip professionals with the knowledge and practical guidance needed to confidently support individuals with life-limiting illnesses who are experiencing domestic abuse.
