We're delighted to announce we've teamed up with Glasgow Hobby Clan and the ACVC Hub, Glasgow's creative hub for Veterans, to bring you Clash on the Clyde Tabletop Wargaming, at the ACVC Hub.

Join us for a full day of tabletop gaming, painting, and hobby demos designed for all experience levels.

10:00 - Doors Open

Greetings and event info provided on arrival. Breakfast rolls available.

10:00-1600 - Painting stations

Painting stations open for casual painting. Drop in and paint at your own pace—no need to bring equipment, but personal models are welcome. Booking will be required to ensure a space.

10:00 – 10:30 - Speed Painting Demo - A fast-paced showcase of quick, effective painting techniques. Perfect for beginners or anyone short on time.

10:30 - 11:30 - Game Demo Session 1 - A full-hour tabletop demonstration of games across 4 tables. Watch, learn, or join in—no experience needed. (Games TBC)

11:30 – 12:30 - Game Demo Session 2 - Another chance to explore the featured games. Attendees are welcome to observe or participate. (Games TBC)

12:30 – 13:00 - Lunch Break - Take a moment to relax, grab food, and recharge before the afternoon activities begin.

Best Painted Miniature voting opens

Attendees can now begin casting their votes for their favourite painted entry from the weekend.

13:00 – 14:00 - Diorama Demonstration - Live scene-building in action. Ask questions and chat with the creator throughout the session.

14:00 – 15:00 - Speed Painting Competition (Requires booking 15 places available)

60 minutes on the clock! Paint a mini using provided materials and show off your skills. Entries will be displayed for judging.

15:00 – 16:00 Game Demo Session 3 - The final demo of the day—casual, friendly, and open to all. (Games TBC)

Last chance to vote for Best Painted Mini. Great time to snap photos of your work, the event, and the community.

17:00 – 17:30 - Awards & Closing - Winners of the Speed Painting Competition and Best Painted Mini announced. Event wrap-up and thank-yous.

Reaper Wargaming

Reaper Wargaming was found in 2022 as Warhammer gaming club Glasgow and has gone from strength to strength and has gone on to host the largest Warhammer 40,000 events in Scotland.

Since its founding Reaper Wargaming has now raised for £18,000 for charity with the majority of that going to armed forces causes.

Reaper Wargaming was founded on the principle of making Wargaming fun, safe and rewarding for all players of all skills levels. We believe Warhammer is for everyone and can be an amazing format to find new friends have awesome experiences all while supporting local causes and giving back to the community.

The Aurora Tabletop Gaming Club, Lossiemouth

The Aurora Tabletop Gaming Club is your home for all things tabletop at RAF Lossiemouth, with currently around 80 members across those serving, reservists, veterans and civilians. Half of our building is dedicated to wargaming, with 5 gaming tables and a modelling and painting area. The other half being the “Wonky Mead”, a tavern inspired area that has 4 tables for boardgames, TCGs or TTRPGs, including a dedicated RPG table with inbuilt display.

Faslane Wargames Club

HMNB Clyde's Senior Rates mess is home to the Faslane Wargames Club(FWC), part of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Wargaming Association and a branch of the Tri-Service Wargaming Association. FWC hold a small room next to the Senior Rates bar with two big tables for games, with lots of terrain available but at the moment the club is only available to service and reserved personnel due to the nature of the base. The club itself plays anything from Warhammer to D&D and is also a safe place for everyone.

The ACVC Hub, near Ibrox in Glasgow, is a veteran-led arts & crafts sanctuary—offering woodworking, clay, painting, model‑making and more. A safe, supportive space helping armed forces community members boost skills, wellbeing and connection through creativity.

Get in the Game aims to reach gamers who've served in recent conflicts, whether you're serving, reservist or a veteran, it's all about community and bringing people together.So, if you're into video, or tabletop gaming, then Get in the Game is for you.
