The Aim of this session is to discuss contemporary materials and techniques and to understand how these can be used to create high quality, predictable, cost effective posterior composite restorations.
Intended Learning Out Comes:
- Identify when direct posterior composite restorations are predictable and when they are not.
- Understand the advantages of a sectional matrix system.
- Develop knowledge on when and how to use bulk fill composites to simplify placement of posterior composites.
- Illustration of a simplified technique to achieve anatomical accurate restorations with minimal finishing.
Speaker: Dr Neel Panchal BDS (lond) MSc (Kings College London)
Neel Panchal graduated from Kings College London Dental Institute in 2007.
Since then, he has gained a Master’s degree with distinction in Aesthetic dentistry
(Kings college London). Aside from his clinical practice, Neel works as a clinical teacher at KCL dental institute.
He teaches both undergraduates, postgraduate students on the masters programme and acts as an internal
examiner for the university.
His area of interest lies with minimally invasive smile enhancements, and direct resin composite.
