ClassB: Japan Pasterior-Sho Soft Pastel Art Course – Basic Class

Learn to express peace and beauty through soft pastel drawing in the Japan Pasterior-Sho (和諧粉彩) method developed by Reika Angel (Korei Akiyama, Japan) — a gentle, healing art form loved for its soft colours and soothing spirit.

Whether you are new to pastels or looking to deepen your artistic expression, this course will guide you step by step through beautiful moonlight, nature, and seasonal scenes that restore calm and joy. 🌸

• Basic techniques of Japan Pasterior-Sho (和諧粉彩)
• How to blend soft pastel colours smoothly
• Composition and layering for soft glowing effects
• Drawing symbolic themes of peace, hope, and mindfulness
• Finishing touches to make your artwork shine

Each class includes a live guided demonstration, individual feedback, and time for you to complete your own pastel artwork.

🅰️ Class A – Thursday Evening Class

🗓 Every Thursday from 11 December 2025, 7:30 PM (UK time)

📅 Dates: 11/12, 18/12, 25/12, 1/1/2026, 8/1, 15/1

🖼 Each class covers one pastel artwork (total six pieces)

🅱️ Class B – Saturday Intensive Class

🗓 Every other Saturday afternoon

📅 Dates & Times:

• 20/12 – 2:30 PM & 4:00 PM

• 10/1/2026 – 2:30 PM & 4:00 PM

• 24/1/2026 – 2:30 PM & 4:00 PM

🖼 Each session completes two artworks

💰 Fees

• Single Lesson: £17
• Full 6-Lesson Package: £97

📦 Materials

Students can either:

• Bring their own materials (a full list will be provided)
• Or order a materials pack (£25–£35 including postage), which contains everything needed for the six lessons.

🏅 Optional Instructor Certificate

Students who complete the full course can apply for the official Japan Pasterior-Sho Instructor Certificate issued by Reika Angel (Korei Akiyama, Japan).

Additional cost: approximately £20–£30 (depending on exchange rate and postage).

Sandra will help coordinate the group application after the course.

• Eventbrite – Pay per class (£17 each), or
• Direct payment – PayPal or bank transfer for the full course (£97 total).
