Event Information
About this Event
Gemini Events are pleased to announce the return of the Classic Motor Show at this truly incredible venue. Considered to be one of the largest private residences in the UK and features the longest façade of any country house in Europe. The classic motor show will take place on the lawns in front of the entrance.
Up to 400 classics expected for the one day motor extravaganza, live arena parades, trade stalls and classic motors from the 1930’s to the 1990’s on display.
With an interactive arena timetable throughout the day featuring arena parades, ‘Pride of Ownership’ awards plus our famous ‘Decibel Duel’ where we look to find the loudest vehicle at Wentworth Woodhouse.
Herbert Austin spent his childhood growing up in Wentworth, his father worked as Farm Bailiff to Earl Fitzwilliam and he attended Rotherham Grammar School before moving to Australia, returning to the UK in 1893. A special Herbert Austin award will be presented to the best Austin vehicle on display to commemorate Lord Austin’s link with Wentworth.
