Description

In this hands-on workshop attendees will gain an overview of a number of key classroom polling and interaction technologies used for the purpose of increased opportunities for feedback and engagement in live teaching sessions such as lectures. This will include demonstration of tools such as Padlet, Kahoot and Mentimeter for which free licenses are available, and PollEverywhere for which many faculties now hold licenses. The workshop will explore a number of pedagogies and ways in which tools are commonly used, giving time for participants to develop and try out their own ideas.

This session is ideal for staff who are responsible for delivering teaching or presentations, who may be either new to polling technologies or looking to develop their current practice.

This workshop is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Education and open to University of Liverpool staff only.

Please use your University of Liverpool email address when booking ( e.g. @liverpool.ac.uk). CIE reserve the option of offering one to one meetings to attendees on workshops with fewer than five bookings.
