Clean Air Zone Businesses and Organisations Event 18th June 2019

We are running a series of events through May, June and July for businesses and organisations impacted by the Birmingham Clean Air Zone. The aim of the events is to provide an update on the progress of the Birmingham clean air zone since the consultation back in August last year. Since this time we have submitted our Full Business Case to the Government, which has been approved, and also received £38m of funding towards support measures for individuals and businesses. The events will be an opportunity for businesses and organisations to find out what the CAZ means for their operations and staff, how they can prepare their business and fleet and what support is available. There will be an opportunity at the end of the session to speak to council officers and ask any outstanding questions. The agenda for the event will be:

• Clean Air Zone update

• Introduction to Business Breathes

• Business Travel Network – including travel planning support

• Support/ grants available

To allow others to attend please limit the number of attendees to 2 people per company.

Taxi and private hire drivers will be contacted separately regarding the clean air zone. These events will not include information regarding taxis and private hire vehicles.
