Clean Break's Sweatbox Training Workshop

Gain new insights and improve outcomes for women in the criminal justice system through innovative training from award winning theatre company Clean Break, and two leading universities.

Improve Outcomes

Participants will gain new understanding and develop communication and empathy skills. Improve ability to de-escalate situations, and increase awareness of how to directly improve outcomes for women.

Hear New Perspectives

The sessions will be co-led by lived experience experts and Clean Break, the theatre company with a track record as an alternative to prison and a pathway post release. Participants will watch their film Sweatbox, which puts you in the shoes of someone on their way to prison, and was developed with women who have lived experience of the criminal justice system.

This training is designed for staff working with women across the criminal justice sector, including police, key workers, magistrates, judges, prison staff,and probation officers.
