You will learn more about the background, scope and wide applications of Clean Language and its approach and how this can deepen and enhance your area of change work.
You will develop an awareness of how much of your own ‘stuff’ is brought into your current practice, and how the Clean approach can be used to counter assumptions being made.
You will learn tools and techniques for training your attention, both to improve your listening skills and to develop your levels of curiosity around anything ‘vague’ that could be misinterpreted and potentially lead to misunderstanding or conflict.
You will practice using the basic Clean Language questions to improve your questioning skills and seek clarity and a shared understanding.
You will learn tools and techniques for: coaching others from problem thinking through to solution; removing barriers and taking action; to modelling resourceful structures and strategies.
You will further develop your repertoire of Clean Language questions to improve your communication and facilitation skills and seek a solution focus to conversations.
You will develop your own metaphor for Communicating @ Your Best to help embed your learning and practice moving forward.
What’s involved?
This 2 day workshop is an ideal opportunity to experience Clean Language first hand and understand its benefits to you and your area of work. The small group facilitates a safe space to listen, digest, discuss, practice and reflect on all aspects of the learning.
