Clean Growth Social
Event Information
Description
The green revolution is happening. It's here to stay.
Come along and see how going green can benefit your business!
From reduced bills to innovtive new products and processes, going green can have serious tangible benefits.
Explore how the Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory (LCEI), a unique project delivered in partnership between Liverpool John Moores University, University of Liverpool and Lancaster University, can support the City Region's SME community. Case studies will be present on the night.
Join us from 5:30pm and hear from our guest host, local TV presenter and sustainability campaigner Simon O’Brien. Offscreen, Simon seeks derelict properties to renovate, all from an ecological perspective and is uncompromising in his attitude toward our interaction with the natural environment. Businesses will hear how he sees clean growth being a key driver for the city region’s economy, as well as offering insights into sustainability opportunities for businesses, how to promote and ultimately profit.
There is street parking around the venue and neighbouring streets (free for 2 hours) or 'King Park' on nearby Kings Dock Street (£4 all day).
*Please register to attend to enable us to cater appropriately for everyone*
We look forward to seeing you there!
