Clear Cut Pictures Case Study - Apollo: Forgotten Films

Mon 10 Sep | 10:30 | Festival Hub - Studio

Arrow Media chose Clear Cut Pictures to post-produce their Discovery and Science Channel feature documentary Apollo: Forgotten Films that had a global ‘day and date’ transmission to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo moon landing. This documentary presented many challenges for the edit and audio team who needed to handle the extraordinary unseen archive sensitively to deliver a fascinating show. Using clips, Ben Newth, Head of Audio, and Dan Preston-Bear, Head of Editing, will discuss their approach to the project – the vision for the sound design and mix; the challenges for image manipulation and technical approach – that brought this footage to life for a new generation.

Entry fee: £7 online, £9 on the door or free with Industry Accreditation
