Through a studio-based practice, students on the Bachelor of Architecture programme at The Glasgow School of Art will be challenged to do, to make and to engage on a daily basis as they explore design through experimentation and analysis. The structure of the course focuses on the design, making and testing of buildings, to develop the fundamental design skill set that enables students to conceptualise and present architectural proposals that nurture people and the planet.

In this online event, Studio Tutor and MSA Admissions Coordinator Hazel Wallace will discuss portfolio requirements for your application via Clearing, and why this programme might be the right choice for you.

Clearing places are open to International and RUK applicants (see www.gsa.ac.uk/clearing for details).

Please note: The Bachelor of Architecture programme leads to an Ordinary after 3 years or Honours degree after 4 years, and to exemption from Part 1 of the Examination in Architecture of the ARB/ RIBA at the end of Year 3 full-time study or Year 4 part-time study. Full-time students normally undertake a year of practical training in an approved architect's office between Years 3 and 4

Clearing is a simple way to apply to The Glasgow School of Art and offers those who do not currently have a place to study on an undergraduate course the option to apply for study at the GSA in autumn 2025. If you’ve already applied for art school or university, Clearing offers you the chance to change your mind. If you have not applied at all, the Clearing process means you still have time.
