Event description

Description

Thanks to our generous sponsors we are able to hold another fun Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot on the farm, with hog roast lunch, all in aid of the NSPCC Norfolk Schools Service 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' an essential and well organised service provided to all primary schools across the county teaching children vital communication and safety skills.

Buying tickets is easy, just click on ticket options below.

We have lots of exciting raffle prizes too, there will be a hog roast lunch and with the expert help of the Blakeney Wildfowlers and Activity Shooting we are confident the day will be fun and exciting for everyone. If you would like to give anything to the raffle or can offer further sponsorship please do get in touch. All are welcome to attend, shooting or not - however due to uneven surfaces this event is not suitable for the less mobile. Please contact us for more information and we will do our absolute best to advise. There will be the option for non ticket holders to turn up on the day and pay a £5 entry fee, £10 for the have-a-go stand and £20 for a 50 bird round with flush, though please note we can only accept cash on the day.

Yours, Alice Atkinson and Tony Blount

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No, this is a family event, all ages are welcome. We encourage non-shooters to come along too to enjoy the day, by selecting the 'spectator' ticket option.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. It is not recommended that children under about 10 years of age take part in shooting. Individuals and at least one member of a team must bring a valid shot gun license.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be free parking available on site, clearly marked as you pull in off the Holt Road. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage on site and all vehicles must be removed after the event. There are no public transport services going to the event.

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring your own fibre wad cartridges (though we will be selling some on the day but can only accept cash). All cartridges must be transported safley, kept in cartridge bags or belts, fibre wad only and all spent cartridges to go in bins provided at each stand.

Please bring picnic blankets, chairs and picnic tables you might wish to use although there will be a few provided.

We have no facilities for card or cheque payments so if you wish to enter the raffle or purchase hot drinks please bring cash.

All guns must be transported securely, never left unattended and carried unloaded in a gun slip at all times unless actually shooting at each stand. The organisers reserve the right to ask anyone not adhering to these requests to leave the event.

At least one member of a shooting team must hold a valid shot gun license and all safety kit such as ear defenders and eye protection must be worn when shooting.

Can we bring dogs?
