Join us for an inspiring afternoon of climate adaptation knowledge sharing across Somerset's communities. This summit brings together organisations and communities who have participated or are interested in the 'Act to Adapt' programme, alongside key organisations that can support communities in adapting to climate change.
What to expect:
13:00 - 14:00: Speakers and presentations - Hear from communities across Somerset who have developed Climate Adaptation Plans through the 'Act to Adapt' programme. Learn about their experiences, challenges, successes, and practical adaptation projects. Speakers will include representatives from participating communities sharing their local solutions for flooding, green spaces, community action, and planning engagement.
14:00 - 15:00: Stalls and cake - Network with fellow communities and organisations over refreshments. Visit information stalls from partner organisations who can provide practical support, funding advice, and resources for climate adaptation projects. This is your chance to make connections and discover new opportunities for your community.
