About this event

This online, experiential group offers an invaluable opportunity for Music Therapists and other Practitioners to explore the impact of climate change on Therapists, the Therapy Process and Service Users.

This 2-hour group, led by the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA), using their Climate Cafe Listening Circle model, will involve self-reflection on your personal feelings about climate change and increase your understanding of the psychological reactions to awareness of climate change.

Important subjects such as the differential exposure and vulnerability to climate impact based on race, class, gender and locations as well as how young people are affected by climate distress will also be explored, in order to provide an intersectional and broad view of the wider impacts of climate change on all client populations.

This event provides not only a space in which to explore your own responses in a peer-supported environment, but also considers how these insights may inform and affect your practice. Places are limited to 16, book yours today to avoid disappointment*

*Please note a waiting list will be created to offer spaces in the event of last-minute drop outs. If tickets are fully booked, please email info@bamt.org to be put on the waiting list.
