Climate Café - Cambridge

Join us for an in-person event at Mill Road Community Centre, 6 Hazell Street, Cambridge CB1 2GN

About your ticket

We limit numbers to 12. If you have booked a ticket but find you cannot come, please cancel your place so that we can make room for someone else on our waiting list.

Please also try to arrive in good time for the start.

All are welcome, although we don't advise young children attending.

There's no charge - but contributions towards the refreshments would be welcome.

[If you can't make it this time, our next events are on the 18th May and the 22nd June, at the same time. We will hopefully be holding further events on future dates. Please follow us to receive notifications about these or email us to be added to a waiting list.]

What are Climate Cafés?

Climate Cafés offer something different from the usual climate events. They are facilitated - so you can be sure that there will be space for you to speak.

They are not designed to recruit you to do anything.

The idea behind them is that talking about climate change is really important - but it is often made more difficult by our feelings of guilt that we are not doing enough, or frustration that others are not doing enough. So we provide a space in which we don't talk about what we should be doing.

We just talk about climate change and how it makes us think and feel.

Organised by

We are Susan Lewis, Daniela Fernandez Catherall and Elisabeth Goodman Spain.

All three of us are members of the Climate Psychology Alliance.

We follow the CPA's approach to Climate Cafes.
