Screening of the recent documentary ‘Before the Flood’* followed by discussion and dialogue about what climate change means for us, now, here?
The event is free. There will be a paying bar open for drinks and nibbles. The venue is the cosy, newly refurbished Plough Inn who have offered the venue for free, so please spend generously at the bar!
This event is organised by artists Inge Panneels, Kate Foster and Claire Pençak in collaboration with Greener Melrose and supported by the Plough Inn Pub. It marks the first anniversary of the historic signing of the Paris Climate Change agreement in December 2015 and its ratification this year. In light of the recent US elections, we are asking what now - for climate change action locally and internationally?
The film is narrated by environmental campaigner Leonardo Di Caprio, UN Messenger of Peace.
